i've been thinking a whole lot about this.

"We are a lost generation, desperately clinging to anything that feels real, but too afraid to become it ourselves. We are a defeated generation, resigned to the hypocrisy of those before us, who once sang songs of rebellion and now sell them back to us. We are the last generation, a culmination of all previous things, destroyed by the vapidity that surrounds us. The hipster represents the end of Western civilization – a culture so detached and disconnected that it has stopped giving birth to anything new."

peas, and carrots. it's hardcore stuff to want to think about,
Dissertation starts looming. and i need to get my ideas sorted. But how the fack to  tackle consumerist culture without sounding like a patronizing 1970's artfag,
Call it sleep. Guy Debord kinda knows his shit. aye.

Go listen to night of the pencils. the worlds not all that bad. Facckt.

It’s the book which reads me.
It’s the TV which watches you.
It’s the object which thinks us.
It’s the lens which focuses on us.
It’s the effect which causes us.
It’s language which speaks us.
It’s time which wastes us.
It’s money which earns us.
It’s death which lies in wait for us.
